My stay at The Antlers, A Wyndham Hotel, was quite enjoyable, especially thanks to the really good customer service I received. However, I encountered issues with plumbing on the upper floors that produced discolored water, which dampened the experience somewhat. Overall, the hotel's beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and efficient staff kept my spirits high throughout my visit.

Rooms

I stayed in a spacious room with large windows that opened up to stunning views of Pikes Peak. The decor had a charming, rustic feel, but I did notice the need for some updates, particularly in the bathrooms, which felt cramped.
Service
10.0
The service I encountered was great. Staff like Bryce and Leo made my check-in process smooth and helped with restaurant recommendations. Notably, Dae Dae was incredibly attentive and remembered me from previous visits, making my travel much less stressful.
Location
8.0
The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring Colorado Springs. I found it easy to get around to local attractions and restaurants, which was a big plus. However, it could be a bit noisy at times due to the bustling downtown area.
Dining
8.0
I had a good dining experience at the hotel's bar and grill, especially enjoying menu items like the hand-made pasta. However, I did find the dining options to be on the pricier side.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had great facilities, including a rooftop pool that offered amazing views. Unfortunately, I did notice that the gift shop was closed during my stay, which was disappointing.

7.2/10

I had a mixed experience at The Antlers. While the views of Pike's Peak from my room on the 13th floor were absolutely stunning, the room itself felt a bit outdated. The service, however, was really good and made a lasting impression on me.

Rooms
6.0
My room was comfortable, but I noticed some cosmetic and mechanical issues that could use updating. I also wished the curtains were more to my liking instead of the pull-down shade.

The customer service was a standout feature of my stay. Koi and Blair at the front desk made my check-in process smooth and welcoming, reaching out to help with any queries I had.
Location

Dining options were decent, though I found some breakfast selections to be limited for the price. Room service also had its moments; while tasty, it wasn't always up to the par I hoped for.
Facilities

The hotel featured good recreational facilities, including a rooftop pool, which added a unique experience with gorgeous views, but overall, some areas felt in need of renovation.

6.6/10

My stay at The Antlers had its ups and downs. The central location offered easy access to restaurants and attractions, and I enjoyed the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains from my room. However, I was disappointed by the hidden fees and the overall lack of attentiveness from the staff, which affected my experience negatively.

Rooms
5.0
My Mountain View room was clean and spacious, but the furniture felt outdated, and I noticed some maintenance issues like dirty windows. Plus, it was disappointing to deal with a surprise pet fee after I had disclosed I was traveling with my pet.
Service
5.0
While the front desk staff were friendly, they weren't very attentive or accommodating. Their defensive response when I raised concerns about unexpected fees left me feeling frustrated.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally located in downtown Colorado Springs, making it super convenient to explore the area. I could easily walk to nearby attractions and eateries, which was a major plus.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were very limited. The breakfast buffet seemed overpriced at $20, and the dinner spot was just a casual pizza place, which didn't impress me. I expected better dining variety for the price.
Facilities
6.0
The lobby had a beautiful design, creating an inviting atmosphere, and the rooftop pool provided stunning views. However, the general upkeep needs attention, which was evident in several areas.

5.4/10

My stay at The Antlers was a mixed bag. The lobby looked stunning, and the staff were polite, yet I felt it was overpriced for the experience. The hot water was out during my entire stay, which was quite disappointing. Overall, there were some lovely touches, but certain aspects left much to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
The room was smaller than expected for the price, and I had issues with the hot water not working. The noise from the hallway and other rooms made it difficult to sleep peacefully.
Service
5.0
While the front desk staff were nice, I experienced a lack of attention from housekeeping. It was quite frustrating not having my room cleaned or receiving towels regularly.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location is great, close to local attractions, but the surrounding area felt a bit concerning. I noticed some homeless individuals outside, which made the parking garage feel unsafe at times.
Dining
5.0
The lack of breakfast options was disappointing, especially since I expected more dining choices. Room service was hit or miss, and one order was incorrect.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities showed signs of aging, such as the hot tub being out of order and some areas needing maintenance. The indoor pool temperature was chilly, which wasn't ideal for relaxation.

My stay at The Antlers was mostly pleasant. the historic charm and stunning views of the Rocky Mountains caught my eye, while the welcoming lobby set a lovely atmosphere. However, the location left a mixed impression—there was a high presence of homeless individuals nearby, which made me feel uneasy about venturing out. Overall, it was a decent experience, though some aspects could be improved.

Location

The location has its perks. being close to shops and restaurants is convenient. However, I felt strongly that Manitou Springs would have been a better base for exploring the area, due to its quaint charm compared to downtown.
Dining
6.0
Dining options had mixed reviews. I found the breakfast to be quite good, but the on-site restaurant was pricey for what was offered. There are definitely better choices nearby for local cuisine.
